Sakarya Economy Grows 4.8 Percent in the First Quarter of 2025

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, Sakarya recorded an economic growth of 4.8% in the first quarter of 2025, ranking among the rising cities of the Marmara Region. Export figures increased by 12%, with the sectors with the most exports being the automotive, machinery and food industries. In addition, the employment rate increased by 2.1%, and industrial employment increased, especially thanks to investments in Organized Industrial Zones.
